  1. HOW TO CONSULT "ASTRONOMICAL EXPLORATIONS"
  2.  
  3. The first image that appears on the screen when you enter the 
  4. program from Windows contains four triggers:
  5. - CREDITS
  6. - AN INTRODUCTION BY ROSSANA ROSSI which illustrates the 
  7. contents of the scientific text using images and audio
  8. - ASTRONOMICAL EXPLORATIONS which allows you to enter 
  9. the consultation
  10. - EXIT
  11.  
  12. When the cursor, represented by an arrow, is over a trigger , it 
  13. changes its shape into a hand.
  14. When you have to wait for the result of your choice, the cursor 
  15. becomes a galaxy.
  16.  
  17. To exit the program every moment, you can press the return button 
  18. or you can press the keys ALT-F4 simultaneously.

  20. The MAIN MENU is composed by a representation of the Solar 
  21. System; by choosing a planet you enter a list of arguments you can 
  22. select. When you arrive to the photos related to a text, you can 
  23. enlarge them (button with a MAGNIFYING GLASS), read their 
  24. explanations, read a glossary of the principal scientific terms (button 
  25. with a BOOK), stop or enable the music which follows each photo 
  26. (button with a LOUD-SPEAKER).

  28. A special trigger in the main menu is EXPLORATION, which allows 
  29. you to watch some full-motions.
